Coach Maul has been involved with Darby Basketball for 18 years, serving the last 8 as Head Coach of the Panthers. He has had stops at the 7th and 8th Grade at Heritage Middle School, Darby Freshman, and a Varsity Assistant. He is a Hilliard High School Graduate and was a member of the basketball team throughout middle and high school. After high school, Coach Maul attended Ohio University and earned two degrees, Business Administration and Education. While at OU, he earned a walk-on spot on the University's basketball team from 1996-1998. He has taught at Darby for 22 years in the Business Department. Chris and his wife Dara, a former Darby Art Teacher, live in Hilliard with their four kids Ty (15), Wes (13), Jake (9), and Claire (6).

Jim Van Winkle has been teaching and coaching in Hilliard for 21 years. He currently teaches online math through the ILC. Originally from Mount Vernon, he played on the men's basketball team for Mount Vernon Nazerene. He started coaching in 1998 at Fredricktown before coming to Hilliard in 2001. He also coaches JV Boys Golf at Darby. His son Taylor was a member of the Darby program from 2010-2014. Coach Van Winkle and his wife Liz have two daughters, Addison (9) and Tess (7).

Coach Andrew Kisner has been on the Darby Staff since 2016, serving the first five years as the Head Freshman Coach. At the same time, Coach Kisner has also been math teacher at Hilliard Darby High School. He has also coached at his Alma Mater Leetonia High School as well as a year at Hilliard Memorial Middle School. Coach Kisner graduated from The Ohio State University in 2010 and received his teaching licensure from Capital University in 2015.  Andrew and his wife Kimberly live in Hilliard with their daughter Aubrey (2) and their black lab Kiki.

Griffin Reed is a graduate of Darby High School. He is in his 10th year of coaching and his 6th year teaching at Darby.  Coach Reed played Football and Basketball at Darby HS.  He attended The Ohio State University and got his teaching license from Ashland University. He also coaches Freshman Football at Darby. Griffin’s wife, Lauren, is a kindergarten teacher at Ridgewood Elementary and they have two daughters, Lyla (2) and Lindsey (newborn).

Kyle Miller is a graduate of Darby High School where he played both basketball and baseball. After high school, Kyle attended the University of Dayton where he graduated with a bachelor's degree as an Intervention Specialist. Kyle begins 2023 as a first year coach and is excited for the opportunity to coach in the the program he was once a part of and give back to the community!

Michael Limbird started his basketball coaching career with Darby High School in 2002.  He spent 4 years as the freshman coach before taking jobs at Ottawa Hills as the JV coach, Olentangy Orange as the varsity assistant, and Hilliard Bradley as the varsity head coach.  In 2017, he came back to the Darby program as a travel basketball coach.  Coach Limbird is the current 7th grade coach at Heritage Middle School.  Coach Limbird teaches AP Calculus and AP Physics at Bradley High School.  Mike and his wife Amanda, 3rd grade teacher at Beacon Elementary, live in Hilliard with their three kids Drew (13), Jacob (12), and Leah (12).
